Risk-budget calculator

Calculate a percentage of an account amount. This is an arithmetic scenario, not a recommended risk level or an order-size calculation.

Scenario budget: 100 account-currency units

Formula: account amount × percentage ÷ 100. This does not include slippage or determine broker volume. Actual losses can exceed a planned amount.

Drawdown & recovery

Compare an earlier peak with a lower current value, using the same currency and measurement basis.

Decline: 2,000 units (20%)

Gain needed to recover: 25%

Drawdown = (peak − current) ÷ peak. Recovery = (peak − current) ÷ current. No additional deposits, withdrawals or costs are assumed; this does not predict a recovery.
