VCM / AUTOMATION GUIDANCE

MT5 Expert Advisor Enquiries

An MT5 Expert Advisor enquiry should begin with your platform setup and strategy requirements. VCM lists MT5 as the proposed target for selected packages; this is not a claim that a particular bot is already installed or connected.

Check the broker environment

Provide the broker name, account currency, intended symbols and relevant contract specifications. Confirm whether your broker permits the proposed automation and whether its regional entity offers the instruments you need. Never share your broker password in a general enquiry.

Specify the workflow

Explain how signals should be evaluated, how many positions may be open, and how orders should be managed. Include spread limits, session restrictions, symbol naming and any required alerts. Ask for confirmation of feasibility rather than assuming every feature is included.

Plan a controlled evaluation

Agree historical testing assumptions and a broker-demo evaluation. Review order logs, errors, open exposure and losing periods. Broker execution, connectivity and trading costs can differ from historical tests; a profitable backtest is not a promise.

PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY

Make the first conversation useful.

  • Which MT5 broker and instruments are involved?
  • Do you have written rules or an existing specification?
  • Do you need installation, alerts or additional configuration?
